dailies 10/28-11/3.

the dailies are a little late this week because i went on a mini-adventure to NYC yesterday, to do my part in revitalizing the economy after sandy (read: i bought bolt bus tickets a while ago to do some christmas shopping). sorry for the delay!

thankfully, much of the city was back to its regular splendor by sunday, with all of the places on our "must see" list open and eager to gain back the business they lost, the weather was great, brisk and sunny, and the subway, while not 100%, provided minimal hiccups (and encouraged avid pedestrianism). i found many a killer stocking stuffer and got to catch up with several NYC buddies, AND had a run-in with the one and only chuck close at the strand! wow i never meet famous people. all in all, a great day. here's to a week of good days for everyone! 

dailies 4/1-4/7.

here we have the spring break dailies! which is great! and awesome! and wonderful! but also a warning sign that real life starts again on tuesday (thank god for the magic of easter monday). let's see what we've got:

though my spring break was a staycation, it did involve quite a few landmarks, including a record-setting (in duration) lunch date with an old friend, feng shui-ing of my entire apartment, a beautiful batch of from-scratch easter cupcakes, and OH YEAH I JUMPED OUT OF A PLANE. skydiving is amazing! and awesome! and i would do it again in a heartbeat! who's in? get back to me, and have a great week, everybody!

dailies 9/18-9/24.

fall came for a brief moment, and then we were whisked right back into hot, sticky summer, in spite of my desperate pleas for cooler weather and with it, hot coffee, breezy walks, and sweaters, scarves, and boots.

on friday night, despite the endless rain that has been saddling baltimore, i went to see fleet foxes and the walkmen at merriweather post pavilion. and IT WAS AWESOME. decked out in my finest (mismatched) rain gear that left me looking like some sort of hobo-flasher hybrid, i nonetheless thoroughly enjoyed myself. they put on a spectacular show. listen to their song "lorelai" below:
