bringing you the dailies from a grueling 1-day teaching week, thanks to professional development and 3 snow days, whee! i must say i am good and rested, thanks to snowmageddon's little brother that graced us with his presence this week.

sunday, september 5th: "i've missed you, lazy latte."

monday, september 6th: "sizzling eyebeams of FOCUS."

tuesday, september 7th: "spontaneous applause at back to school night."

wednesday, september 8th: "asleep on the couch at 8:30, not even pretending to watch whatever was on."

thursday, september 9th: "all my students assumed i was jewish, but i spent rosh hashana getting a head massage and a haircut."

friday, september 10th: "my first official encounter with a student outside of school."

sunday, september 11th: "fresh week, fresh start."

this week was a strange, only-three-teaching-days week, and next week, i don't teach on tuesday, either! i forgot how many strange days off public school students get, and it has been a very pleasant surprise, let me tell you. have a great week, everybody!

ohmigosh only one day of student teaching left! WHOA THAT IS UNBELIEVABLE. now it's time to install my students' work in the commencement exhibition and OH YEAH GRADUATE ALSO. so soon! wow wow wow okay here are the dailies!

sunday, may 2nd: "accomplishing all sorts of unnecessary things."

monday, may 3rd: "a serendipitous run-in."

tuesday, may 4th: "tiny actions, giant results."

wednesday, may 5th: "tying up loose ends."

thursday, may 6th: "a nearly imperceptible haircut still makes me feel like a million bucks."

friday, may 7th: "an unexpected real life superhero."

saturday, may 8th: "building a tiny family of purposefully mismatched mugs."
