dailies 1/8-1/14.

hi everyone! greetings from a much-enjoyed three-day weekend! 2012 alissandra is taking full advantage of resolutions as rationale for doing things like jumping on planes and visiting dear friends for mini-vacations (and accidentally going off-the-grid for the weekend by leaving my phone at home). let's see the dailies before it's time to go back to reality:

i hope everyone else's long weekend was as enjoyable as mine. a small adventure: having hastily left my favorite necklace (a one-of-a-kind antique skeleton key with a heart cut into it from charms city co.) at security on my way to greenville on saturday, i was delighted to find that not only was it turned in to the lost and found, but i was able to retrieve it today! it took some scary-strange instructions ("find the DO NOT ENTER sign and ignore it, then walk down the corridor, knock on the second door on the left. tell them your name and...") that seemed like i was on some kind of secret spy mission, but it ended in victory!

here are the dailies but i am too simultaneously exhilarated and exhausted to elaborate! the national art education conference in seattle was an incredible experience in several ways--- i'm so glad to have been able to reconnect with old friends and form new relationships with people i've admired from afar for some time. i'll spare you the touchy-feely detail, but seriously? so good. let's get right to it:

hi friends, and merry christmas! unfortunately, my present away-from-home-ness for the holidays means that i am scannerless, and can't update my dailies until i get back! i apologize for the suspense; please look forward to a super-post upon my return next week! until then, here's a crappy cellphone picture of my packing list and the people i drew at the airport:
