dailies 10/3-10/9.

hi everyone--- it's sunday, which means it's dailies day! despite a string of truly heinous suckfests, there were enough nice moments for the sum of the week to end up in the plus column. yesterday i also went to see the new exhibition at the american visionary art museum, "what makes us smile?" which was great! it was great to be a real human for a hot second.

 sunday, october 3rd: "first cup of hot zeke's at the farmer's market means fall is really here."

thursday, september 9th: "all my students assumed i was jewish, but i spent rosh hashana getting a head massage and a haircut."

this week was a strange, only-three-teaching-days week, and next week, i don't teach on tuesday, either! i forgot how many strange days off public school students get, and it has been a very pleasant surprise, let me tell you. have a great week, everybody!

so precollege is in full swing, but even more exciting is the O YEAH I GOT A JOB portion of the evening. i'll be starting in the fall at sudbrook magnet middle school, and i am going tomorrow to explore, rearrange, and inventory my classroom. SO COOL. have a great week, everyone!

salutations! or at least, hi friends! now that i have finally procured my master's degree, i imagine i have to use fancy talk all the time. or something. i'm just excited to be able to finally wrap up the all sorts of loose ends that i have accrued throughout the course of student teaching. whew! what an incredible, wonderful journey this has been. but enough of that, let's get to the dailies!

ohmigosh only one day of student teaching left! WHOA THAT IS UNBELIEVABLE. now it's time to install my students' work in the commencement exhibition and OH YEAH GRADUATE ALSO. so soon! wow wow wow okay here are the dailies!

delayed! but here they are. i am super-busy in a non-illustration capacity right now, which is making me pretty sad. so much so that i apparently did not know what day it was for half the week, realizing only on monday that i erased the 26th from the universe somehow. i'm working hard to stay on track, and ideally, i'll have some progress to report on my other studio work sometime before, you know, never. thanks for hanging in there.
